Hiring Information
- Phone interview: 30 minutes At this stage you will be introduced to Gnip and our culture, and will have a technical discussion about topics relevant to the position.
- On-site Interview - 90 to 105 minutes For the initial on-site interview you’ll talk about a project of your choosing and also be given a technical problem to solve. The project you choose can be from your work, open source, or a side project of your own. During this time you’ll also have a 10-15 minute break to meet informally with others in the company and ask any questions you may have.
- Pairing Interview - 4 hours The final part of the interview process, you’ll pair with a member of the team as you’re asked to solve more technical problems. In addition, you’ll get an overview of Gnip’s architecture and be able to see the production code as you work with a member of the team to implement a feature.
In order to find the best candidates, Gnip has implemented a 3-stage interview process.
