Imperial Capital Bank provides customers with personal and business banking products and services through our retail branch locations in San Francisco, Encino, Glendale, Beverly Hills, Costa Mesa, and San Diego, California, Carson City and Las Vegas, Nevada, and Baltimore, Maryland.
Imperial Capital Bank was organized in 1974 as Imperial Thrift and Loan Association, a California Industrial Loan Bank. In 1995, we went public through the sale of our shares in an initial public offering. Imperial Capital Bancorp (Formerly ITLA Capital Corporation) is our parent company.
In 2000, our name was changed to Imperial Capital Bank, and in January 2003, we changed to a state chartered non-member commercial bank. With our commercial charter we now offers a greater array of deposit products previously unavailable under the more restrictive thrift charter.
