The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) provides administrative support to the HR team on all personnel matters as directed. Incumbent performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Processes new hire paperwork, including I-9 form verification. Submits the online requests and follows through on new employee background checks; Performs data entry into HRIS, and other systems as assigned by the Benefits Administrator; Responsible for processing termination paperwork, and moving files from active to terminated status; Works on special projects as assigned; Processes recruitment and interview paperwork; Provides clerical support, such as typing offer letters, and various correspondences, making photocopies, faxes documents and creating and maintaining personnel files and filing. Prepares new hire files. Inputs benefits enrollments and terminations (COBRA); Conducts employment verifications. Addresses unemployment claims; Assists with the various employee recognitions programs. Provides receptionist relief, as required. High school degree or equivalent, with some college coursework preferred. Minimum of 3 years job related experience in an HR department; Must demonstrate technical expertise with Microsoft Offfice Suite, and HRIS. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
