Fall 2010 Internship Program - Corporate  
 
This Fall 2010 Semester, SIRIUS XM RADIO WANTS YOU! We are currently offering internships within our corporate groups.  Departments available may vary depending on semester. 

Accounting: The Accounting Department records, analyzes, verifies, and reports all financial transactions for SIRIUS XM.  Interns will directly support the Controllers group in day to day operations.  Responsibilities may include assisting with the monthly financial close process, researching budget variances, tracking and reconciliation of journal entries and tax files, and preparation of check requests.

Finance:  The Finance Department tracks and projects spending and budgets for all SIRIUS XM business groups.  Interns will work as a member of corporate finance in direct support of operations.  Responsibilities may include financial support in tracking spending, developing budgets and re-forecasts, assisting with the monthly close, preparing purchase orders, and general invoice and A/P follow through.

Please note regarding all SIRIUS XM internships: 

• You must be 18 years of age or older.

• Internships require an applicant to receive academic credit for the internship - it is the applicant's responsibility to set up the internship with their school.

• All positions are unpaid, and SIRIUS XM does not provide for transportation reimbursement costs.

The Fall program begins on September 13, 2010 and runs through December 17, 2010.
