I have always been described as someone who uses both sides of her brain. In academics, I am extremely logical, practical, and book-smart. However, I also really enjoy using the creative side of my brain. I love interior design, baking, and cake decorating. My secret dream? To open my own bakery. Perhaps impractical, because I feel I should use my intelligence in a more logical way. I also love sports, including basketball, volleyball, skiing, and bicyclying.

Supervised daily activities of a restaurant grossing over one million dollars per year. Delegated tasks to teams of eight to ten employees, performed weekly inventories, and trained new hires. Directly interacted with customers and was regularly praised for excellent customer relations. Sold more product than any other employee with consistently faster order times.

Life Experience

I am from a teeny town in upstate New York called Geneseo. I didn't always live there; my parents divorced and my mom's new husband brought us there. I attended public school for my entire career and achieved the rank of valedictorian for my graduating class, of which I was also Student Council President. Searching for a warmer climate and a more challenging educational atmosphere, I decided to attend Tulane University on a full-tuition academic merit scholarship. I am happy to say that I pay not a cent for one of the best undergraduate educations in this world, and it is all because of the hard work I did throughout my life. Now at Tulane University, I am seeking a summer 2010 internship in the legal field.
